For twenty-five years it has been operating continuously in Italy and abroad as a creative organization, fostering conscious responsibility towards society and the environment. In every project, we strive to identify the content that best aligns with the needs of our partners.   • Opening Performance | UN New York

    Opening performance and SmarTalk on the Sustainable Development Goals at a high-level political forum (UN, New York).

  • Festival Art for Earth 1° edition

    A festival dedicated to the role of the arts in communicating environmental sustainability and promoting sustainable practices. The first edition was held in Rieti (Lazio) and Terni (Umbria) with the support of the Italian Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security.

  • The Castle Of the Time

    A traveling show on the history of Castel Sant' Angelo will be held at the Castel S. Angelo Museum Complex (Rome, in collaboration with the Sovrintendenza Beni Culturali).

  • MOON | Jobel Canada

    Multimedia public art, a project supported by the City of Montréal and the Quebec Ministry of Culture and Communication.

  • Opening Performance | UN Bangkok

    "The Role of Culture in Achieving the 2030 Agenda" in collaboration with The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as part of the Sixth Asia Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development (Bangkok, Thailand).

  • SmarTalk "Plants on Stage" | CNR

    SmarTalk as part of the "Fascination of Plants Day" celebrations in collaboration with the National Research Council - Department of Bio - Agri-Food Sciences.

  • Undercreative Network - European Project

    European project "Undercreative Network" Creative Europe program, implemented together with Mimenstudio Dresden (Germany), Pontopolis (Czech Republic), and Parada (Romania).

  • Christmas at Eataly

    Thematic setup and traveling performance at Eataly store in Rome (Roma Ostiense).

  • Performance for COP26, BKK

    "Performing Arts as a Driver of Change: Climate Change, Responding to the Immediate Threat." The British and Italian Embassies in Bangkok jointly organized the event in the context of COP26.

  • Dans Le Fleuve - Into the River

    A multimedia public art project supported by the City of Montreal and the Quebec Ministry of Culture and Communication. Artistic, narrative installation inspired by Montreal’s Saint-Laurent River. It was produced with the support of the Montreal Chamber of Commerce, BentallGreenOak, the David Suzuki Foundation, and Rodeo FX.

Since 2015, Jobel has been committed to disseminating issues related to sustainable development through artistic language. Special attention to local communities through events dedicated to families and the younger generation. Thanks to the SmarTalk project, Jobel participated in the United Nations Sustainable Development Forums in New York and Bangkok from 2019 to 2021. Jobel is a member of the international Global Compact network and the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development (ASviS).

Jobel enhances the cultural and natural heritage of the territories in which it operates, with a specific focus on the inland areas and villages of Central Italy. Working with public bodies, private companies, and local associations, it creates projects ranging from the organization of cultural events to training programs and awareness-raising initiatives. The goal is to create opportunities for meetings, dialogue, and growth, strengthening community ties and stimulating active participation.

In 2019, under the direction of Marinella Montanari, Jobel has created a base in Montreal, Canada to explore creative collaborations with the city's vibrant creative technology and artistic ecosystem.

Since 2015, thanks to the European projects Undercreative Network and the Italian Ministry of Culture Artistic Residencies project, Jobel has been hosting and collaborating regularly with artists from different regions worldwide.

The exchange of artistic practices and visions stimulates research and nurtures a sense of belonging to a creative community without boundaries of territory, culture, or language.

Team

  • Lorenzo Cognatti has been working since 1998 with multidisciplinary artists serving communities, businesses and institutions.

    Hundreds of original creative projects in thirteen countries, involving civil society, institutions and private entities to raise awareness in local and international contexts.

    In 2000 he founded Jobel with Marinella Montanari and takes care of its artistic and creative direction with tireless determination and spirit of research and innovation.

    Lorenzo develops a model of events and performances based on the fusion of the arts and aimed at developing artistic productions based on issues of environmental, social and cultural interest, using artistic tools to provoke reflection and critical thinking.

    In 2003 he created the Centro Jobel Artistic Residency in the province of Rieti, collaborating each year with talent from around the world.

    Lorenzo's innovative staging style combines dynamism, and different interpretive registers to engage a wide and diverse audience. This versatility has led him to be invited as Artistic Director for major events and in international settings.

    With experience in artistic production, she oversees cultural planning and organizational coordination of Jobel's activities.

  • Marinella Montanari

    Direction - Jobel Canada

    As the manager, actress, and artistic director of multidisciplinary projects, she has been coordinating Jobel's activities in Canada since 2019, creating live art and multimedia projects.

  • Olga Domanska

    Performer, Teacher, Communication

    A versatile artist, her skills range from performance art to performance staging design to communication content design.

  • Brian Latini

    Actor, Teacher

    Trained as a dancer and, over the years, took part in performances domestically and in international projects, participated in Jobel productions as a performer on stage and in training activities.

  • Roberta Palombo

    Author, Theatre Director, Teacher

    With experience gained from more than two decades of working with artists and creatives, Roberta is part of the artistic team producing projects.

  • Simone Scifoni

    Musician, Composer

    A multi-instrumentalist artist specializing in Jazz and Blues, with international experience, he collaborates with Jobel to create soundtracks for the performances.

  • Sara Quadri

    Sara Quadri

    Residency Manager, Teacher

    As an artistic trainer and stage manager, Sara teaches training projects and operates the Jobel Center Artistic Residency operationally.

  • Francesca Di Franco

    Teacher, Choreographer

    She has worked as a dancer and choreographer in Jobel productions and has specialized in teaching art to school-age youth.
